Description

Narrated by Feyre and Rhysand, this bridges the events in A Court of Wings and Ruin and the upcoming novels in the series.

Feyre, Rhys, and their close-knit circle of friends are still busy rebuilding the Night Court and the vastly-changed world beyond. But Winter Solstice is finally near, and with it, a hard-earned reprieve. Yet even the festive atmosphere can't keep the shadows of the past from looming. As Feyre navigates her first Winter Solstice as High Lady, she finds that those dearest to her have more wounds than she anticipated--scars that will have far-reaching impact on the future of their Court.

I was disappointed with the main characters treatment of Tamlin and with their extravagant spending when their people were still rebuilding. Feyre is not as admirable as celeana sardothien.

I liked the idea of bringing a closing book to show the characters outside of the chaos. Sarah J. Maas is one of my all-time favorite authors, and I loved reading this book. It may be short, but it’s bittersweet. I can’t wait for her to come out with another book/series.
  • This really isn’t a book in the series...

It’s a short mini-take between books. Disappointed at spending so much to finish it in 2 days and not have experienced much of a story.

This book was meant to give you closure it was a short fanfic about the guys from the author herself. I enjoyed it it didn’t need to be so action packed I simply just wanted a sneak peak inside the lives of the characters. Will be buying the next one.

What no one understands about this book is that it is not meant to be a long and exciting story. It is meant to show how the characters are faring after the war. The book is meant to show what the Inner Circle does when they are not at war. It is suppose to take time away from the action.

I AM INLOVE WITH THIS SERIES. I cannot wait for the new spin off. For this particular book though I really missed Feyre and Rhysand’s relationship, we only really got a glimpse. But I cannot wait for the spinoff, this author really speaks to me and I love her books

This novella was not at all what I was expecting or hoping for. Definitely a filler story of how the troops are all living/surviving post war. One of the character’s response was surprising and honestly quite sad. I liked the different character perspectives. Though the novella was good the story had so much potential to be more but it just felt half finished.
