Ladies, I'm not here to tell you how many secret ways you can bend over backwards to get some man to come and validate you. You've heard enough of that.
Men, I'm not here to tell you how to attract more women in an effort to chase the fulfillment your heart yearns for but you never learned how to keep. You've tried that already. It did not, and still has not worked.

I'm here to tell you how to stop getting mindscrewed, toyed with, and taken for granted. It's killing your hope in love, and likely even eating away at your sense of self. You don't have to admit it to me, and you can hide it from your circle, but deep down, you know. Why am I so sure? Because I've been there before.
I've been on both the receiving and giving end of heartbreak. I've been the bullshitter and the bullshitted. I, like many of you, tried everything to put myself in position where I could never get hurt, but no matter what, I failed because I was already hurting due to my lack of understanding of self-love.
In this book, I take you through not only my personal process in that journey but also the lessons I learned to help me lead millions in that same journey for themselves today. I'm not telling you it's going to be easy, I'm just telling you that if you continue going in circles like you've been doing then it's by choice because I've now given you the map. The rest is on you to make the necessary steps. Just don't forget your crown

I absolutely LOVED this book. It got me through one of my worst heart breaks and really reenforced the Queen in me to stand back up. More than anything, it gave strong and wise advice that can truly make a difference. It’s not bias or the stereotypical dating advice of getting a partner, it seriously guides you to understanding healthy ways to go by. Thank you for all those chapters filled with guidance and driving the way into self love, you’re amazing!

I didn’t know why I was picking all the wrong men. Before my first and after my second divorce I dated and struggled to find a true love. But, what I realized, is that I wasn’t respecting my own boundaries that I set, to benefit those that really could care less of my wants and needs...... I didn’t love myself! Thank you! Thank you!

I’ve recently gone through a bad break up and have been struggling with remembering my crown. This book let me know not to forget it or myself. There’s things I need to fix before moving on which is essential. I’m literally about to start reading it again.

I loved that he shared his journey, it made what he had to share relatable. As a female almost at the brink of defeat...this book gave validation to what I believed was true. I bought a copy for my daughters to read. I wishing I had better insight when I was younger to love myself more and stop letting an abusive marriage drain me of myself worth. I hope to one day find a man that “gets it” and we can grow together and continue to be our best selves. -Thanks for sharing your insights Derrick.

I decided to purchase this book before taking a flight to go see my boyfriend. I was in search of a book about relationships, self love, SOMETHING that could give me answers. The moment I read the introduction I was hooked. My relationship recently became long distance and we now have hit the “hard stages”. This book covered a lot of the issues I was and still am facing. I’m so used to reading books about relationships authored by females and it’s usually always biased. You never hear the mans POV or how they feel. His mindset is impeccable. He covered so much, had real life examples and challenges that relationships go through today. It was real and raw and I thank him for this book! Please write more !

Jaxn’s pov validates my feelings as a woman! I had to screenshot a few quotes to reflect on when i need that mental strength and encouragement when dealing with my son’s father. Great author, easy read, and not too much fluff!
